Sheree Honeyfield-Smith offers you the opportunity to experience the benefits of mindfulness with a well-qualified and experienced practitioner. Sheree invites you to discover how mindfulness, applied with skill to the connection between body and mind, can open doors to improved focus, relationships, and well-being.
For enquiries and to reserve your place, please contact Sheree. Please note that these classes are not drop-in - to receive the full benefit that mindfulness has to offer, it is recommended that you attend the complete set ie 8 classes in term one.
Research into the neurological and biological benefits that mindfulness has to offer shows changes in neurological circuitry and functioning after 8 weeks of regular mindfulness practice. Sheree structures each set of classes to maximise potential for this to occur. She also requests a conversation with each student prior to committing to the classes as some exclusions may apply.
Exclusions may include where head injury has occurred, with damage to some areas of the brain, drug and alcohol addiction and the use of some medications. Mindfulness uses particular areas of the brain and involves a process of self-reflection - the exclusions mentioned can affect this learning. These will be discussed at the time of enquiry or registration.
Sheree can also tailor the learning of mindfulness to suit individual requirements if classes are not for you.
